HDM Corp. is a woman-owned, Omaha-based company dedicated to helping its nationwide clients find a better way to administer health care. HDM Corp. recognizes that there is no single solution that satisfies every client's needs. The company develops customized solutions to meet the unique needs of its customers.

Prior to founding HDM in 1996, Lisa Lechowicz served as Senior Vice President of claims and customer service for the Health Care Business Operations at Mutual of Omaha Companies. In that position, Lisa supervised a staff of more than 1,200 and managed a $60 million budget.

Lisa has extensive experience in both health care and information technology. Lisa began her career as a Systems Consultant, Systems Analyst and then a Project Leader.  Lisa served on the Corporate Quality Improvement Team and chaired the Quality Improvement Team for the Group Operation at Mutual of Omaha. She attended the Quality College and post graduate classes at Northwestern University.

Lisa served on the WEDI (Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange) Board from 1991-1993, when the EDI vision for healthcare was developed under then Secretary of State Louis Sullivan.  Lisa developed Mutual's first EDI Strategic Plan and implemented EDI for the Company's health care operations; moving the Company from 20% electronic to over 60% electronic. In working through the issues in implementing EDI, Lisa saw the need (and opportunity) to assist small to mid-size payers and providers with the deployment of technology in health care. HDM was born.

Lisa holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Management from Purdue University. Lisa is a lifelong learner and holds many industry designations, including CLU, ChFC, FLMI, CEBS, HIA, and ACS. She has taught classes at the college level at Metropolitan Community College, College of St. Mary's and Creighton University.

In 2006, Lisa served with Nebraska statewide Health Care leaders to formulate a plan to address health care reform on behalf of Senator Chuck Hagel
