Victoria Zambito - VP

I am the Vice President of Marketing.  I don’t have a laundry list of companies I’ve worked for — in fact, the list is relatively short. That’s due primarily to one thing: when I find a job I love and a company I can make a difference at, I’m not going anywhere. This is that place for me. I’ve been here since our first year in business and it gets to be a better place to work every year. It embodies the things I need from a job — it’s a challenge every day, it’s rewarding every day, I learn something new every day, and I definitely laugh every day.

I could say that it has been exciting to watch the company grow — but I didn’t watch, I participated. I have a quote taped to my computer monitor that says, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” I like to be involved and make things happen. I like to get the job done and do it well. I love marking things off my to-do list! But like everyone, I’m not perfect.  Putting together engaging, quality online courses has been a true learning experience for me — and it is still in progress. We have room for improvement and I am passionate about continually making our courses better and enhancing the learning experience.

Before my career in online education, I worked as a local Fox Television news producer, putting together a 1-hour morning new show.  That job was heavily deadline driven — right down to the second I had to make sure my show went off the air — so I learned to manage my time, think on my feet and react calmly under pressure. Being responsible for putting all the pieces of an hour long newscast together five days a week also taught me the importance of teamwork. Dozens of people must work together to develop less than 50 minutes of television content — not unlike the effort it takes to put up a quality online course.

I graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University and am still an avid Seminole fan. Like many people, though, I am not originally from Florida. I spent my first 18 years in a small town in Orange County, New York. I moved to the Sunshine State for college, met my future husband, and never moved back North. I like reading, jogging, shoe shopping, and a good glass of red wine — but my favorite thing in the world is spending time with my family – my husband Chris, my son Cade, and my daughter Kallie. There is nothing as great as being a Mom.

I am a member of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and the eLearning Guild.
