Having been at Care2Learn since 2005, I have enjoyed, and continue to enjoy, everyday as our team exceeds the needs of our healthcare customers. Having a background in instructional design, I am especially pleased to be part of an organization that applies learning theory and technology to improve the quality of care for the healthcare industry.
Before working at Care2Learn, I developed a wide assortment of learning and performance solutions including online learning and electronic performance support systems at General Dynamics, where we helped improve the services provided to our nation’s veterans. My work experience also includes developing elearning at NETg in Limerick, Ireland.
I enjoy learning in both formal and informal settings. I have a graduate degree in instructional systems design from Florida State University and a MBA from the University of Florida. Additionally, I try to stay active in the elearning industry and have delivered presentations at conferences for the Elearning Guild and the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI). I have also been published in ASTD’s Learning Circuits and the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation & Education Conference (IITSEC).
I live with my wife, Melissa, and our son, Jacob, in Bradenton, Florida and enjoy any activity that allows me to spend time with them.
