As Director of Healthcare Account Management at Care2Learn, it is my privilege to lead the team of healthcare professionals who work to ensure that clients have a positive experience and continued success with eLearning. I am an experienced registered nurse with a BS in Healthcare Administration from St. Leo College in St. Leo, Florida. My clinical experience, in a private practice and on the hospital floor, includes a healthy taste of many areas of nursing: operating room, medical-surgical nursing, hospital pediatrics, endoscopy, and home care. I've been a surgical first assistant in peripheral vascular, general and bariatric surgeries with a private surgeon; and I've attended patients in the private practice through the continuum of care. In the home health arena, I've been an administrator of both Medicare and private-division home health offices, a community liaison-coordinator, a regional director of operations, a regional Oasis educator, and a regional resource educator where responsibilities included OBQI/OBQM training, orienting and training of management staff. Here at Care2Learn I'm able to parlay the best parts of my experiences in nursing, administration and education into one fantastic job, where I feel I can best apply my skills to make a real difference in the healthcare field. Good healthcare workers are a priceless commodity, and I like knowing my staff is helping them become even better.
