About Us

Care2Learn is more than just the leading provider of online education in the senior care industry. We are a company founded by experienced caregivers with a background in long-term and post-acute care. We are a team of more than 100 strong and growing, with a passion for helping healthcare professionals gain the skills and knowledge they need to enrich their lives and the lives of others—and for helping healthcare organizations improve their staff training solution and become an industry ‘provider of choice’. Where It All Began

Based in Tampa, Florida, Care2Learn was founded in 2000 by veteran caregivers who realized a need within their industry for a more convenient and consistent way to access quality CE courses and inservices to fulfill their certification requirements and enhance their skills.

Having started out with only 200 hours of online content covering six healthcare disciplines, Care2Learn has since expanded its online course library to include more than 500 accredited courses and over 300 inservices spanning more than 17 disciplines. In addition, our SmartTeam online business education library features more than 75 professional and personal development courses designed to enhance leadership and management skills; improve customer service; promote employee health and wellness; and deliver valuable computer software courses such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more.

Through the leadership and guidance of CEO Tom Wallace, Care2Learn has become the number-one provider of superior online education for the senior care industry and in 2012 merged with one of our largest industry competitors—Chicago-based Upstairs Solutions—to offer even more quality products and services to our clients. Care2Learn now offers the largest online CE and compliance training library and serves more than 4,000 healthcare facilities in all 50 states in Canada.
