Completion Requirements 
Dietitians are not regulated by any government agency in California. Standards for eligibility to take the Registration Examination for Dietitians are determined by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association.
 
CDR Requirements are:  
75 hours due every 5 years based on initial year of registration. RDs must pay renewal fees annually by 8/31. Care2Learn is a CDR Accredited CPE Provider and offers CDR approved courses. CDR also accepts materials accredited by other CDR-approved organizations, such as the ANCC.  Care2Learn is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission  on Accreditation.
