| Description | As we grow older, it is not uncommon to experience a decrease in mental acuity due to the normal effects of aging. However, in people suffering from ADRD, the degree of mental difficulty is far greater. It is not always easy to detect the difference between the two but as a healthcare worker, you need to develop antennae to sense the subtle differences between the two states. This course is designed to give the student a better understanding of ADRD that will prepare them to distinguish between normal aging and memory loss from ADRD.
